Of recent construction (opened in June 1998), the hotel overlooks a breathtaking view of the emerald lagoon teaming with brightly colored fish, with neighboring islands Raiatea and Tahaa on the horizon. The property is conveniently located onto a beautiful white sand beach and close to interesting sites and popular shopping areas.
Le Maitai Polynesia is stylishly furnished and feature modern facilities.
The architecture, entirely Polynesian in style provides a local look that blends naturally into the environment: along the shore with the typical overwater bungalows and beach bungalows or the comfortable air-conditioned rooms nestled in the mountain.
The rooms are approximately 30 sq. meters or more, plus terraces.
The spacious Villa-Suites are located about 100 meters down the road on a separate piece of land, surrounded by fresh and exotic gardens. They feature their own kitchen and a separate master bedroom.
Throughout Le Maitai Polynesia, you will find simple yet elegant golden wood decor and the unmistakable presence of Polynesian charm and hospitality.

Nos 7 bungalows de type traditionnel sont а deux pas du lagon et ouvrent sur une vue éblouissante du lagon. Tous possèdent des équipements modernes pour vous offrir un confort maximal. The overwater bungalows have contributed to the renown of hotels in Bora Bora. The Maitai Polynesia proposes bungalows (30mІ + deck 8mІ) nicely decorated with good taste. The deck and its outdoor shower impel you to have a dive into the lagoon. In a corner of the bungalow, the glass bottom table will invite you to watch the colourful fish swim around.

All 19 bungalows are equipped for your comfort with the following: television, TV with free in-house movie channel, safety box, telephone, mini-bar, hair dryer, hair and body lotions, ceiling fan and deck.

Les bungalows sur l'eau restent le type d'hébergement privilégié qui fait la réputation de Bora Bora. Nos bungalows pilotis (30mІ + terrasse 8mІ) sont décorés avec goыt. Pontons de bain et douche extérieure vous invitent а la baignade а toute heure. Une table а fond de verre permet d'observer lagon et poissons directement du coin salon. Ces 19 bungalows possèdent des équipements modernes pour un confort maximal. These units locally called " fare " are located within walking distance (120 meters approx.) from the front desk, outside of the main property. They are surrounded by well kept exotic gardens. Quite different from the other room categories, these villas are set up as hotel suites, suitable for families and or "love birds".


Each one of the 10 villa-suites (70 mІ large) has a private deck, a separate master bedroom, a living room with trundle beds and a kitchen. They are equipped for your comfort with the following: television, safety box, telephone, hairdryer, mini-bar and ceiling fan. These villas, although located away from the main hotel, are nonetheless provided with the same full service as in the rest of the property.

Ces constructions typiques appelées localement 'fare' sont situes en dehors de l'hôtel а une centaine de mètres de la réception et sont entours d'un jardin exotique merveilleusement entretenu. Une alternative aux autres types d'hébergement, ces villas sont aménagées telles des suites hôtelières idales pour uén séjour en famille ou une détente tranquille en amoureux. En plus d'une terrasse privative, chacun des 10 fare comporte une chambre sépare, deux lits gigogne, une cuisine et iél est équipé de : T.V., coffre-fort, tléphone, méini-bar, brasseur d'air. The restaurant, surrounded by plants and decorated with local materials, is the perfect place to savor delicious meals. The full menu of varied dishes awaits your order, while the wine card carefully selected will take you to the heart of the most famous vineyards.
The seafood buffet held on Wednesday nights is a must. You will of course enjoy seafood and island dishes while a great tamure show and fire dancing will entertain you.

The Manuia Bar (" Cheers ! " in Tahitian) decorated with an exotic touch and local furniture is a great spot to meet with your friends to enjoy cool cocktails in a tropical atmosphere. Pareo demonstration, local preparation of raw fish and Tahitian music are all part of the many entertainments proposed at the Manuia Bar.

Le bar Manuia ("santé!" en tahitien) au décor exotique, meubl d'éléments traditionnels est l'endroit idéal pour retrouver ses amis et savourer un cocktail dans une ambiance tropicale.
